Dr. Strazicich is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Economics at Appalachian State University. His fields of specialization include Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and International Economics. His research has examined economic growth and the distribution of world income, economic growth and the environment, the behavior of government debt, and developing and applying time series tests with structural breaks. His research has been published in professional journals, including The Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Economic Inquiry, Economics Letters, Environmental and Resource Economics, and the Journal of Macroeconomics. He earned his Ph.D. in economics at the University of Washington, and holds Master's and Bachelor's degrees in economics from Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia, respectively.
